Since we are being honest, I had no idea what ExitTicket was before this assignment.  After looking at the ExitTicket website and watching informational YouTube videos about it, I have learned that it is a student response system to help students achieve more in the classroom.  ExitTicket can be ran on any classroom technology that is connected to the internet, whether that be a laptop, iPad, iPhone, or something else.  The students then are able to work 1:1 with the technology which allows for the best learning experience.

Teachers can see the ExitTicket dashboard and see which kids are struggling and which ones are succeeding.  There is a list of objectives that they are learning and the teacher is able to see who needs extra help with that objective.  To score the students, instead of breaking it down by assignments, it is broken down by standards.  The teacher can clearly identify the area in which they need to focus their instruction.

ClassBadge is another great thing to use with ExitTicket. Students are then able to pass a series of questions, participate in class activity, demonstrate a skill, and receive an award after completing that.  The students can see the reward in advance, so they know what they are working towards.  They are able to see a clear, concrete goal while creating some incentives that kids are willing to work on.
